Caleb Keltner
Adjutant - National Guard

Caleb grew up in Southwest Missouri, living in Nixa and Ozark before moving to the Galena area where he resides now. He enlisted in the Marine Corps during his senior year at Galena High School. In 1994 he attended boot camp at MCRD San Diego. After completing Infantry training Caleb was assigned to Camp Pendleton for the next four years, completing two WESTPAC deployments. After his initial enlistment Caleb entered the civilian workforce and started a family with his wife Nurita. He would eventually go on to earn a bachelor’s degree from Columbia College. After an 8-year break in service Caleb enlisted in the Missouri National Guard in 2007 to attend Officer Candidate School earning a commission as a Second Lieutenant in 2009. After completing follow-on training, he began his career as an engineer officer and has held various positions at the platoon, company, battalion, brigade and division levels. He deployed to the CENTCOM AO in 2017/2018 and served 13 months on the Southwest Border in 2020/2021. Caleb was recently promoted to Lieutenant Colonel and is currently serving as a brigade intelligence/operations (S2/3) officer. His military decorations include the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, the Meritorious Service Medal and multiple Army Commendation Medals. In 2018 he earned a master’s degree in executive leadership from Liberty University. Caleb is currently employed by Rapid Roberts Inc. He is a long-time member of Ozark Family Church where he enjoys teaching a class of his peers and was recently appointed post adjutant of Sam Appleby Jr. Memorial VFW Post 7628. He resides in Stone County with his wife. They have three children, two daughters and a son, as well as two grandchildren.
