Joseph Donald Gaunder, age 89 of Ozark, died May 18, 2022.  He was born July 16, 1932 in Ann Arbor, Michigan, the son of George and Zora (Hosbein) Gaunder.

            Mr. Gaunder served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.  After that he worked as a quality software engineer for NASA and retired from Honeywell. He was a member of Countryside Christian Church.  Mr. Gaunder volunteered for the VFW, Habitat for Humanity and many other organizations.

Survivors include:  his children, Donald Gaunder and wife Rosila (Joshua and Jesika,) Daniel Gaunder, and Jennifer Smallwood and husband Brent (Katherine and Alexandra); a brother, John Michael; and a sister, Kathryn.

            Mr. Gaunder was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Ronald Lindsay; and his other siblings.

            A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, May 23, 2022 at Adams Funeral Home, Ozark, with Brent and Jennifer Smallwood officiating.
